Journey of Love

People say a lot happens at airports. The chance meeting of a celebrity, the casual bump into an old school mate, or the once-in-a-lifetime bump from economy to first class just because the Pilot's remembered to do his good deed for the day.

Topmost on that list though is the “journey of love”; A term that my best friend coined for a romantic boy-meets-girl scenario that most girls deny but secretly long for. Whenever any one of us travelled be it by boat or horseback, we would want to know if they’d met someone nice on the trip.

“Would you like a seat, dear? “Oh no, thanks”, she replies enthusiastically .Putting up her best, “Oh-please-like-me-face”. Tcheew.Champagne, Wine, Juice...?”. “Whatever you’ve got is good enough for me”. “I’ve got a wife and two kids, but what I feel for you is so strong”...It’s ok, as long as you love me right!

So you know that excited feeling you get when you find an old journal of yours? (Ok, your sister’s or anybody else's? lol )Yes. That stir of butterflies and the give-away smile that indicates to an onlooker that you've got an interesting secret...That’s the feeling I'd love to have and share with you every time a new post hits this blog.
